Are you as smart as you think you are?

I like to think I'm a smart person. I know we all like to think that, because, for whatever reason, we don't like looking dumb or being wrong.

Like all of us, I get caught up smelling my own farts and don't realize that I'm just being dumb. Of course, sometimes no one can tell me I'm being dumb because we all can't see it, I suppose.

As time has gone on, I've noticed I don't mind looking dumb around people I am comfortable with. If I'm wrong, they will point something out.

They would be rude, they might laugh, but correct me and explain.

Why do I say this?

The main reason I say all this is because I had a head ass moment. I was supposed to stop at one distribution center for work supplies. It is one of the ways to work, so I will stop by and grab it on my way to work.

I woke up extra early so I would not forget to go. I reminded myself as I was showering. I got to my car and said, " Alright, let's go."

I drove past it and got to work. As I turned off my car, I had a brain blast and remembered that I needed to go and get that. Before anyone got to work, I left for there. I got called by my business partner, asking where I was going told him, and he laughed at me.

I got to drive an hour back and forth again, and I will need to do it later when I leave work.
