Wake Up, You Got Work
Work is what my life revolves around and I'm sure lots of you can relate.

When I wake up in the morning and start getting ready for work, I like to sit on the living room couch and stare at the traffic zooming past on the freeway behind the TV. There are all these lives going on all at once, all the time. It is a reminder that life never stops, as I sit here on this couch, life is going by me.
My life force is being consumed every second that my heart beats. As I sit out looking at life fly past me on the freeway, I get a sense that we are all just going up and down, left and right, trying to get on the right path to reach where we want to be in this game of life.
Good morning....
My turn to get on the freeway of life.
After staring for a few moments, I get ready for work and reach my car, parked on the street. I warm up my car and take off. I have to commute for about 1 hour to get to work. I used to drive 5 minutes, but decided to move in with my partner, who lives 1 hour away.
The drive-in is one of the best parts of my day. When I get on the freeway, it leads to the canyon, and all I see are green, beautiful mountains. Mountains with towering trees and rocks sticking out of their sides. I feel like I'm seeing what life is all about; something about nature just makes me feel so alive and happy.
Once I reach the top of the canyon, all I see are these rolling green hills with the rise sun popping up right behind them or even at times above them. Sometimes I will be driving, and there will be fog, and those are my absolute favorite times driving up.
Somehow, it even gets better because I have to drive past a lake with hills that touch the water, and expand into mountains, the sun above them, which makes everything just so much better without even trying. Then I must go down and drive into a beautiful valley with so much green land and surrounded by mountains; it is so hard not to love the drive to work because of how beautiful it all is.
I have one of the best loading screens a person could ask for on a commute to work.
The level starts...
When I finally get to work, everything is usually off because I am the first one there. Sometimes my business partners will be there before me, but I arrive between 8 and 8:30 AM since we open at 9 AM.
I arrive, turn on the lights, put the Starlink outside, and start making coffee. By the time everyone gets to the shop, the coffee will be ready, and we will have a little meeting.
That is how my day starts nearly every day.
